THE NO-REFUND POLICY
Our Enrollment Policy
Thank you for choosing FIND PI Training as your exam preparation partner. We are committed to providing you with the highest-quality, most thorough Kentucky PI licensing exam preparation available — and we take that responsibility seriously in everything we build.
Because our courses are delivered digitally and are accessible immediately upon enrollment, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds on any FIND PI Training course or bundle purchase.
This is not a policy designed to protect us from dissatisfied students. It is a policy that reflects the nature of digital educational content: the moment you enroll, you have full and immediate access to every activity, every question bank, every ebook, every downloadable guide, and every simulation exam in the course. That access cannot be returned, and the investment we made in building it cannot be undone.
What this means for you: Before you enroll, we encourage you to read the course descriptions thoroughly, review the activity structure, and make sure the course you are purchasing is the right fit for your preparation needs. If you have questions about the content, coverage, or structure of any FIND PI Training course before purchasing, please reach out to us at info@findpitraining.com— we are happy to help you make the right decision before you commit.
What this does not mean: It does not mean we are unavailable after your purchase. If you have questions about course content, difficulty with accessing materials, or anything that affects your ability to use what you purchased, contact us and we will make it right.
We stand behind the quality of this system completely. Every question, every explanation, every statute reference, and every operational standard in these courses was built directly from the official Kentucky Private Investigator Examination Study Guide. This is serious preparation for a serious professional license — and it is designed, priced, and delivered accordingly.
We are glad you are here. Now let's get you licensed.

What's included?
What is an Exam Prep Course
Every question bank in this system was written specifically for the Kentucky PI licensing examination — not adapted from another state, not pulled from a generic law enforcement database, not generated without reference to the actual study guide.
Every explanation cites the specific KRS provision or study guide page it comes from. Every number, every timeline, and every statutory definition was verified against the official Kentucky Private Investigator Examination Study Guide before it was included.
If it is on the Kentucky PI licensing exam, it is in this system.
What's Included
Part II includes seven targeted question banks, a rapid review drill, and a full 200-question readiness simulation — all drawn directly from the Kentucky Private Investigator Examination Study Guide.
The seven question banks cover every federal and state law topic tested in Part II: Privacy Act and FOIA, the Fair Credit Reporting Act and Bill of Rights, the Kentucky Penal Code and CCDW, eavesdropping and recording law, criminal offense classifications and arrest authority, confidentiality obligations and evidence standards, and the Kentucky Open Records Act. Each bank is followed by detailed correct and incorrect explanations so you understand not just what the right answer is — but why.
The rapid review drill is a fast-paced 20-question assessment designed to sharpen your recognition before the final simulation. The 200-question simulation mirrors the actual Kentucky PI licensing examination in format, pace, and difficulty. Budget approximately four hours and work under the same conditions as the real exam — no notes, no pausing.
Every activity includes a pre-assessment description so you know exactly what to expect before you begin. Part II represents approximately 14–15 hours of structured exam preparation.
What Part II Covers
Part II covers the federal and state legal framework that every licensed Kentucky PI operates within every single day.
On the federal law side — the Privacy Act of 1974 including scope, individual rights, system of records, routine use, civil remedies, and criminal penalties. The Freedom of Information Act including all nine exemptions, the 20-working-day response deadline, fee rules by requester type, segregability, and constructive denial. The Fair Credit Reporting Act including permissible purposes, the seven and ten-year obsolescence limits, pre-adverse action notice requirements, dispute rights, and the difference between willful and negligent liability.
On the constitutional side — all ten amendments of the Bill of Rights with direct application to PI practice, including the Fourth Amendment's operational boundaries for investigators.
On the Kentucky law side — KRS 500.080 definitions including felony, misdemeanor, violation, and the four mental state standards. Criminal offense classifications for burglary, robbery, assault, theft, and forgery. CCDW law including permit validity, application process, the $60 fee, prohibited carry locations, excluded weapons, and the glove compartment exception under KRS 527.020(8). Eavesdropping law under KRS 526.010 and 526.020 including the Class D felony classification, the three lawful recording circumstances, and the federal wiretapping maximum of $10,000 and five years. Citizen's arrest authority under KRS 431.005(5) — the two required conditions and why PI authority is identical to any private citizen. Confidentiality obligations including the three protected topics and four consequences of failure. Evidence standards — material, relevant, important, and competent — and chain of custody procedures. The Kentucky Open Records Act including the three-day response deadline, the burden of proof on the public agency, denial requirements, and penalties for misuse.
Who Part II Is Built For
Part II is built for candidates who have completed Part I and are ready to move into the federal law, constitutional law, and operational standards layer of the Kentucky PI licensing examination.
It is specifically built for you if you feel confident on the KRS 329A licensing framework from Part I but know that federal law — the Privacy Act, FOIA, FCRA, and the Bill of Rights — is less familiar territory. It is also built for you if you have never formally studied Kentucky criminal law classifications, CCDW, or eavesdropping law and need a structured, exam-focused way to learn and apply them.
Part II is not a general study resource. Every question is written specifically for the Kentucky PI licensing examination. Every explanation is tied to the study guide. If you are preparing for any other state's exam, the federal law content transfers — but the Kentucky-specific statutes do not.
What Happens After Part II
After Part II you move directly into Part III — Scenario Application and Readiness Simulation.
Part III is where everything comes together. Instead of testing individual statutes and standards in isolation, Part III puts you in realistic investigative scenarios and asks you to apply what you know simultaneously across multiple subject areas — exactly the way the actual Kentucky PI licensing examination is structured at its most demanding level.
Part III includes five scenario-based question banks, a 15-minute timed rapid recall assessment, and a comprehensive 200-question final readiness examination covering the complete scope of all three Parts. By the time you finish Part III you will have worked through over 600 practice questions and two full 200-question simulations.
Upon completing Part II you will receive a certificate of completion. Your certificate reflects 15 hours of structured exam preparation and is issued automatically when you finish all required activities.
